Research Focus

Dr. Anguah’s research interests include obesity, energy regulation and appetite control. Dr. Anguah studies how dietary components influence appetite and body weight. Specifically, my laboratory studies the role of complex carbohydrates (e.g. fiber) in appetite control, the central control of appetite in response to dietary components and how dietary components such as fiber influence the microbiome in humans.
