Dr. Jacqueline Limberg is currently seeking volunteers for the following research studies:

Help Us Learn About Type 2 Diabetes!

Participate in a research study examining how diabetes changes the way the nervous system controls blood pressure.

  • Men & women, 18-65 years old who are overweight, pre-diabetic, or diabetic.
  • Most diabetic, cholesterol, and blood pressure medications allowed!
  • Exclusions: current nicotine use, pregnancy, alpha-blockers, beta-blockers, SSRIs
  • Monetary compensation provided.
  • Two short research visits with flexible scheduling.

Blood Flow and Nervous System Study

Seeking Healthy Volunteers!

Volunteers needed for study examining the effect of insulin on blood flow and nervous system activity.

  • Healthy men & women free of acute and chronic conditions
  • 18-40 years old; BMI ‹30
  • One 1-hour screen visit in MU-PAW
  • One 5-hour research visit @ CRC
  • Financial compensation provided

Healthy Women Needed for Sleep Apnea & Blood Pressure Study!

Volunteers needed for study designed to learn about sleep apnea and blood pressure in young women.

  • Healthy women 18-45 years old
  • Free of acute and chronic conditions
  • Currently using oral hormonal birth control pills
  • One 30 minute screen visit via Zoom
  • Two 4-hour research visits in MU-PAW
  • Individual study measurements & financial compensation provided
